TFP<\/i> Bureau, Raipur, November 12, 2025: In a landmark achievement for Chhattisgarh\u2019s logistics and industrial sectors, the state has dispatched its largest-ever copper concentrate export consignment, totaling 12,000 metric tons, to China. The first rake, carrying 2,200 metric tons, was flagged off from the Multi-Modal Logistics Park (MMLP) at Nava Raipur on Tuesday, marking a significant leap in the state\u2019s export and connectivity capabilities.<\/p>\n
Developed under the Department of Industries, Government of Chhattisgarh, the Nava Raipur MMLP is fast emerging as a strategic gateway for Central India\u2019s trade and industrial growth. Equipped with modern cargo handling systems, advanced warehousing, and direct rail connectivity, the facility is transforming Chhattisgarh into a critical node for domestic and international trade. The export consignment will reach Visakhapatnam Port before being shipped overseas to its final destination in China.<\/p>\n
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai described the event as a \u201chistoric milestone\u201d for Chhattisgarh\u2019s logistics landscape. \u201cThis achievement demonstrates how the state\u2019s mineral wealth, industrial strength, and strategic location are being effectively connected to global markets through modern infrastructure and progressive policies,\u201d he said. He added that under the newly launched Chhattisgarh State Logistics Policy 2025<\/em>, the government aims to position the state as one of India\u2019s leading logistics hubs by 2047 through world-class infrastructure, public-private partnerships, and employment-oriented reforms.<\/p>\n The flag-off of this massive copper concentrate consignment highlights Chhattisgarh\u2019s growing role in India\u2019s logistics network. The Nava Raipur MMLP serves as a catalyst for industries not only within the state but across Central India, enabling faster, more cost-effective movement of goods to major ports and markets.<\/p>\n Officials from the Industries Department noted that the MMLP\u2019s multimodal integration\u2014combining road, rail, and air connectivity\u2014ensures seamless movement of bulk cargo, industrial products, and agricultural goods. The park is also expected to reduce logistics costs substantially while supporting sustainable transportation through reduced carbon emissions.<\/p>\n The Chhattisgarh State Logistics Policy 2025<\/em> represents a comprehensive framework to modernize logistics operations across the state.
