TFP Bureau, <\/i>Raipur, November 16, 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday lauded Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai for ushering in what he described as a \u201ctransformation\u201d in the state. The Prime Minister made the remarks during the national Tribal Pride Day celebrations held in Dediapada, Gujarat, where he highlighted the expanding leadership role of India\u2019s tribal communities.<\/p>\n
Addressing the gathering, the Prime Minister said that increased tribal representation in governance is becoming a defining feature of India\u2019s development narrative. He underscored Chhattisgarh\u2019s \u201ccritical role\u201d in strengthening this momentum, noting that the state, under the leadership of a tribal chief minister, is witnessing \u201cbroad-based development and clear, positive progress across sectors.\u201d This, he said, reflects the true spirit of the guiding principle \u201cSabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.\u201d<\/p>\n
Shri Modi also referred to his recent visit to Raipur, where he inaugurated the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Memorial and Tribal Freedom Fighters Museum. Calling the museum a \u201cgrand symbol\u201d of Chhattisgarh\u2019s tribal history, heritage and sacrifice, he said it would serve as a lasting national monument to the courage and contributions of tribal freedom fighters.<\/p>\n
The Prime Minister\u2019s strong affirmation of Chhattisgarh\u2019s tribal identity, culture and welfare efforts has drawn widespread appreciation across the state.<\/p>\n
Responding to the remarks, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said the Prime Minister\u2019s praise had greatly encouraged the people of Chhattisgarh. He reaffirmed his government\u2019s commitment to the principles of \u201cSabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas,\u201d and said that under Shri Modi\u2019s guidance, the state had seen significant strides in tribal empowerment, expansion of basic amenities, education, healthcare, livelihood opportunities and cultural preservation.<\/p>\n
Expressing gratitude, Shri Sai described the Prime Minister as \u201cthe pride of the nation\u201d and said his affection for Chhattisgarh is deeply valued by the tribal community. \u201cEvery word he speaks for Chhattisgarh is like nectar,\u201d he said, pledging to serve \u201cChhattisgarh Mahtari\u201d with renewed dedication.<\/p>\n
