He said the reforms are expected to generate annual savings of nearly \u20b925,000 to \u20b940,000 for the average household while increasing the income of farmers, artisans, small manufacturers and traders by 10\u201320 percent. These measures, he added, will help accelerate economic activity and ease the financial burden on millions of families.<\/p>\n
Choudhary directed officials to ensure strict compliance among businesses so that the benefits of these reduced rates reflect in market prices. \u201cThe department’s foremost responsibility is to ensure that the relief announced for the public does not remain on paper. Outstanding Taxpayers Felicitated<\/em><\/p>\n During the ceremony, the government honoured high-performing taxpayers whose contributions played a significant role in strengthening the state\u2019s revenue base. Taxpayer Appreciation Awards for 2024\u201325 were presented to Mahindra & Mahindra Limited, HDFC Bank, UltraTech Cement, MPCG Mobile Pvt. Ltd., NTPC, Reliance Retail Limited, Sarda & Minerals, Ministry of Railways, Bhilai Steel Plant and Abyss Foods & Protein Pvt. The facility is equipped to improve coordination among field officers, support digital monitoring, enhance taxpayer interface and streamline enforcement activities.<\/p>\n He added that as the state continues to expand its economic base, the department must adopt innovative methods, strengthen digital infrastructure, and ensure greater taxpayer convenience. \u201cThis new building reflects our resolve to make the GST Department more accessible, efficient and responsive,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n The event concluded with a walkthrough of the new office floors, where modern workstations, data integration systems and citizen facilitation counters have been set up.
