TFP Bureau, <\/i>Raipur, November 28, 2025: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Friday chaired a high-level review meeting at Mahanadi Bhawan to assess the Education Department\u2019s roadmap under Chhattisgarh Anjor Vision 2047. The meeting focused on short-term goals up to 2030, medium-term targets up to 2035, and long-term strategies for transforming the state\u2019s education landscape. The Chief Minister directed officials to prepare a \u201cclear, time-bound and result-oriented\u201d plan, stressing that ambitious goals must be matched with sincere implementation.<\/p>\n
Sai said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the national aspiration of \u2018Viksit Bharat 2047\u2019 has been defined, and Chhattisgarh\u2019s Anjor Vision represents the state\u2019s blueprint for reaching that milestone. He emphasised that education is the most critical pillar in this journey, as only \u201cskilled, capable and future-ready children\u201d can meet future challenges. Noting that teacher availability in the state is above the national average, he said government schools are consistently providing quality learning environments. The School Education Secretary made a detailed presentation on the department\u2019s progress and plans.<\/p>\n
The Chief Minister said that when teachers perform with dedication, \u201cnothing can prevent a child from achieving a bright future\u201d. He called for fostering healthy competition among teachers, creating leadership opportunities for talented educators and enhancing academic environments across schools. Strengthening early childhood education through coordination with the Women and Child Development Department was also emphasised.<\/p>\n
A detailed review was conducted on key components of Anjor Vision, including the establishment of 1,000 model schools, the implementation of the school-complex system, development of international-standard schools, AI-based assessments, personalised digital learning tools, upgraded teacher training, and the expansion of STEM education. Sai placed special focus on strengthening STEM through the creation of a Science City, science fairs, and AI and robotics laboratories. Discussions were also held on reducing dropout rates to zero by 2035, forming a state-level ECCE committee, improving evaluation centres and expediting teacher recruitment. He instructed officials to set three-year targets and implement them immediately through a structured action plan.<\/p>\n
Reviewing the functioning of the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education, the Chief Minister examined data systems, question paper development, examinations and evaluation mechanisms. He directed officials to introduce more subject options at the higher secondary level, prepare a question bank aligned with competitive exams, ensure error-free evaluations and establish a secure tracking system for transporting confidential question papers.<\/p>\n
The meeting also reviewed progress under the National Education Policy 2020, including improved enrolment, integration of Balwadi with school education, mother-tongue-based learning, the Jadui Pitara and Samvad initiatives, Eco Club activities, digital learning under PM e-Vidya and expansion of vocational courses. Sai said the targets envisioned under Anjor Vision 2047 will help develop an \u201cempowered, self-reliant and globally competitive\u201d generation in Chhattisgarh.<\/p>\n
