Feedback can be shared between November 27 and December 27, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>A trial version of ECINet was recently deployed during the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 and subsequent by-elections, demonstrating significant improvements in election management. The platform enabled faster delivery of voter services, real-time access to voter turnout trends, and the publication of polling station\u2013wise index cards within 72 hours of voting \u2014 a process that earlier required several weeks or even months. The Commission described this as a major leap toward digital transparency and efficiency.<\/p>\n<p>Insights from the Bihar trial, along with detailed feedback from Chief Electoral Officers (CEOs), District Election Officers (DEOs), Electoral Registration Officers (EROs), observers and field-level election staff, are now being incorporated to further refine the platform. User submissions during the ongoing public feedback phase will also play a key role in enhancing ECINet\u2019s usability. Updated features will be finalised ahead of the platform\u2019s official nationwide launch scheduled for January 2026.<\/p>\n<p>ECINet is one of the Commission\u2019s flagship initiatives, envisioned to streamline and integrate election-related digital services into a single, user-friendly ecosystem. The project is being led by Chief Election Commissioner Shri Gyanesh Kumar, with Election Commissioners Dr. Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Dr. Vivek Joshi overseeing its broad technological framework and implementation. This integration is expected to reduce redundancy, improve the accuracy of election data, support better coordination among officials, and offer a smoother experience for voters seeking services or information.<\/p>\n<p>The Commission has encouraged all citizens, especially those who frequently use election-related digital services, to contribute suggestions during the one-month window.
