TFP Bureau, Raipur, December 22, 2025: <\/strong>Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda on Monday asserted that the Chhattisgarh government has not only fulfilled the promises made to the people but has also achieved much beyond its stated commitments, as the state marked the completion of two years of the present government. He was addressing the Janadesh Parab (Mandate Celebration) held at the Khokhrabhatha Police Line ground in Janjgir-Champa district.<\/p>\n

Addressing a large public gathering, Shri Nadda said, \u201cWe delivered on what we promised, and even accomplished what we didn\u2019t promise,\u201d underlining the government\u2019s performance across sectors. He described the two-year tenure as a period of sensitive, decisive and people-centric governance, with visible outcomes at the grassroots level.<\/p>\n

Highlighting major welfare measures, the Union Minister said that within the first month of the government\u2019s formation, over \u20b93,700 crore was paid to farmers, reflecting the administration\u2019s priority towards agriculture. Over the last two years, \u20b91.25 lakh crore has been transferred directly to beneficiaries, strengthening transparency and trust. He added that more than five lakh landless agricultural labourers have received financial assistance of \u20b910,000 each, providing them with much-needed socio-economic security.<\/p>\n

Shri Nadda said the government has laid a strong foundation for future development through a transparent recruitment system, initiation of recruitment for 32,000 posts, reforms in the Public Service Commission, establishment of the Nalanda Library and modernization of Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs). He cited schemes such as Mahtari Vandan Yojana and Mahtari Sadan as major steps towards women empowerment, while noting that 70 lakh families have benefited under PM JANMAN and tribal communities have been empowered through the Dharti Aaba Tribal Village Upliftment Scheme.\"\"<\/p>\n

The Union Minister further pointed out that Chhattisgarh\u2019s railway budget has increased 22-fold, with 32 Amrit Stations being developed to world-class standards. He said flagship schemes including Ayushman Bharat, Ujjwala Yojana, Jal Jeevan Mission and PM-Kisan have brought tangible benefits to the common people.<\/p>\n

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, addressing the programme, congratulated the people of the state on the completion of two years of the government and said his administration remains committed to living up to public trust. He described Chhattisgarh as a strong model of \u201ccontinuous service and continuous development,\u201d adding that the goal is to ensure development reaches every section of society.<\/p>\n

The Chief Minister said schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Mahtari Vandan Yojana, the Landless Agricultural Labourer Welfare Scheme and Charan Paduka Yojana have accelerated development across the state. He said significant progress has been made in weakening Naxalism through a coordinated strategy focusing on security, rehabilitation and development, paving the way for peace and prosperity and moving closer to the goal of a Naxal-free Chhattisgarh.\"\"<\/p>\n

Referring to the Vision Document 2047, CM Shri Sai said a clear roadmap has been prepared to transform resource-rich Chhattisgarh into a strong, self-reliant and developed state, ensuring better opportunities for future generations.<\/p>\n

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao termed the Janadesh Parab in Janjgir-Champa a historic moment and said Prime Minister Narendra Modi\u2019s guarantees are being fulfilled one by one in the state. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma said that 18 lakh houses have been sanctioned since the formation of the government and development works are being fast-tracked for the direct benefit of the people.<\/p>\n

Finance Minister and district in-charge Shri O.P. Choudhary, in his welcome address, said the government has strengthened democracy, public trust and good governance, setting new benchmarks through its Vision Document. Jagdalpur MLA Shri Kiran Singh Deo said the past two years have established new dimensions of development, with benefits reaching the last person.<\/p>\n

On the occasion, Union Minister Shri Nadda released the government\u2019s report card and the book \u201c2 Years of Service,\u201d<\/em>highlighting key achievements of the Chhattisgarh government. Guests were felicitated with traditional Kosa silk and brass artefacts, showcasing the cultural identity of Janjgir-Champa. A video presentation depicting the achievements of the past two years was also screened.<\/p>\n

Shri Nadda and CM Shri Sai later visited departmental exhibitions and reviewed various development schemes related to agriculture, horticulture, fisheries, education, women and child development, water resources, energy and cooperatives. The Chief Minister interacted directly with beneficiaries and handed over keys to beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana during the programme.<\/p>\n

Agriculture Minister Shri Ram Vichar Netam, Skill Development Minister Shri Guru Khushwant Saheb and Janjgir-Champa MP Smt. Kamlesh Jangde also addressed the gathering, highlighting the state\u2019s development journey over the past two years.
