The session will focus on India\u2019s transition from AI policy vision to nationwide implementation in the education sector.<\/p>\n<p>The session will be attended by Union Education Minister <strong>Dharmendra Pradhan<\/strong> and Minister of State for Education and Skill Development &amp; Entrepreneurship (Independent Charge) <strong>Jayant Chaudhary<\/strong>, underscoring the government\u2019s emphasis on leveraging artificial intelligence as a transformative force across school education, higher education, skilling and research ecosystems.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative aligns with the goals of the **National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the national vision of <strong>Viksit Bharat 2047<\/strong>, which aims to make India a developed nation by the centenary of Independence. The Ministry has also undertaken extensive consultations with academia, industry, startups, civil society and government bodies to frame a robust and responsible roadmap for AI integration. Recently, senior leadership engaged with AI startup founders in the education domain and convened the two-day <em>Bharat Bodhan AI Conclave 2026<\/em> to deepen stakeholder collaboration.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Prime Minister <strong>Narendra Modi<\/strong> on Monday hailed the India AI Impact Summit as a landmark moment for the country, describing it as a testament to India\u2019s youthful talent and growing global stature in science and technology. Welcoming global leaders, innovators and experts to India, the Prime Minister said the summit reflected the nation\u2019s rapid progress in frontier technologies and its increasing contribution to global development.<\/p>\n<p>In a message shared on X, the Prime Minister invoked an ancient Sanskrit <em>subhashitam<\/em> to underline the importance of knowledge, discipline and scientific temper, noting that India\u2019s land is rich in intellectual and human capital. He said the strong global participation at the summit highlighted international confidence in India\u2019s innovation ecosystem and the capabilities of its young workforce.<\/p>\n<p>The Ministry of Education\u2019s session at the summit will showcase how AI initiatives are being scaled through public digital platforms, Centres of Excellence, teacher training programmes, curriculum integration and deep collaboration with industry and startups.
