Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai says film captures a century-long journey of patriotism, discipline and social service, aims to inspire youth towards nation-building<\/em><\/h4>\n

TFP Bureau, Raipur, February 26, 2026: The Chhattisgarh government on Thursday announced that the film Shatak<\/strong>, which chronicles the 100-year journey of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh<\/strong>, will be made tax-free across the state. The announcement was made by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai<\/strong> after he watched the film at Zora Mall<\/strong> in the state capital.<\/p>\n

Members of the Council of Ministers, elected representatives and senior officials were present during the special screening. Addressing the gathering after the show, the Chief Minister described Shatak<\/em> as a powerful and inspiring cinematic portrayal of patriotism, selfless public service and lifelong dedication to the nation.\"\"<\/p>\n

Announcing the decision to grant tax exemption to the film, Shri Sai said the move was aimed at ensuring that the inspirational journey and ideals of the Sangh reach every section of society. \u201cBy making this film tax-free, we want students, youth and common citizens to easily watch and understand the values of discipline, service and national commitment that the RSS has upheld for the past century,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

The Chief Minister recalled that the RSS was founded under the guidance of Keshav Baliram Hedgewar<\/strong> and later strengthened by Madhav Sadashiv Golwalkar<\/strong>, whose vision and leadership shaped the organisation\u2019s nationwide expansion. \u201cThe journey of the RSS reflects unwavering dedication, organisational discipline and the spirit of placing the nation above everything else. These ideals continue to inspire governance and public life even today,\u201d Shri Sai added.<\/p>\n

Praising the contribution of RSS workers, the Chief Minister said that the organisation has consistently worked to reach the last person in society through initiatives in education, social service, cultural awareness and harmony. He noted that during natural disasters, social crises and challenging times, the voluntary service rendered by Sangh workers has played a crucial role in supporting affected communities and strengthening the social fabric.<\/p>\n

Shri Sai further said that lakhs of swayamsevaks<\/em> across the country have upheld the principle of \u201cNation First\u201d through disciplined service and silent dedication. \u201cThis film is not just a documentation of history, but a source of inspiration for future generations. It conveys the message that nation-building begins with individual commitment, character and service to society,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
