<\/p>\nTFP Bureau, Raipur, March 9,2026: Vishnu Deo Sai, Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, on Monday visited the Cultural and Heritage Museum at BSS Pranavananda School located on VIP Road in Raipur, where he paid floral tributes to the statues of Bharat Mata and Swami Pranavananda, the founder of the Bharat Sevashram Sangh.<\/p>\n
During his visit, the Chief Minister toured the Cultural and Heritage Museum established on the school campus. The museum showcases statues, portraits and information about eminent personalities who played a significant role in shaping India\u2019s civilization, knowledge traditions and freedom movement. The visit aimed to highlight the importance of educating students about the country\u2019s cultural and historical heritage.<\/p>\n
Secretary of the school, Swami Shivarupananda, personally guided the Chief Minister through the museum and explained the significance of the various exhibits. The displays depict the lives and contributions of several renowned sages, philosophers, scientists, social reformers and freedom fighters who left a lasting impact on India and the world.<\/p>\n
Chief Minister Sai carefully observed the exhibits and appreciated the efforts made by the institution to present India\u2019s rich civilizational heritage in an engaging manner for young learners. He noted that such initiatives help students understand the depth of India\u2019s historical traditions and the sacrifices made by great personalities for the nation.<\/p>\n
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said that India possesses an ancient, rich and glorious civilization that has evolved over thousands of years. He added that the country\u2019s cultural and spiritual heritage has been enriched by the knowledge, research, wisdom and sacrifices of sages, scholars, social reformers and national heroes.<\/p>\n
He emphasized that it is essential to connect the younger generation with India\u2019s history, culture and spiritual traditions so that they develop a deep sense of pride in the nation. According to him, when students learn about the lives of great personalities, they gain inspiration, moral strength and a sense of responsibility toward society and the country.<\/p>\n
Sai further said that museums and educational initiatives like the one established at BSS Pranavananda School play a vital role in preserving cultural values and passing them on to future generations. Such institutions, he said, serve as important platforms where students can learn about the country\u2019s religion, scriptures, traditions and the contributions of visionary leaders who shaped India\u2019s identity.<\/p>\n
He expressed confidence that the museum would inspire young students to learn from the ideals and achievements of great personalities and motivate them to contribute positively to the nation\u2019s progress.<\/p>\n
During the visit, Swami Shivarupananda honoured the Chief Minister by presenting him with a traditional shawl and a commemorative memento as a token of respect and gratitude.<\/p>\n
The museum features statues and detailed information about several eminent figures from different fields, including Ved Vyasa, Vishwamitra, Sushruta, Kanada, Aryabhata, Ramanujacharya, Swami Vivekananda, Raja Ram Mohan Roy, Prithviraj Chauhan, Rani Lakshmibai, Khudiram Bose, Dayananda Saraswati and Birsa Munda, among others. Their stories highlight achievements in spirituality, science, social reform and the struggle for India\u2019s independence.<\/p>\n
School Principal Anandita Ghosh, members of the teaching staff, and a large number of students were present during the visit. The students enthusiastically interacted with the Chief Minister and expressed their interest in learning more about India\u2019s historical and cultural heritage through the museum\u2019s exhibits.<\/p>\n
The visit concluded with the Chief Minister appreciating the efforts of the school management and the Bharat Sevashram Sangh in promoting cultural awareness and value-based education among students.
