The week-long observance, centered around this year\u2019s theme, \u201cSafety and Well-being: Crucial for Viksit Bharat,\u201d included a range of activities such as safety rallies, awareness sessions, a marathon, and engaging skits to reinforce the importance of safety at all levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of its holistic approach to well-being, BALCO also organized a health and eye check-up camp for drivers and machine operators to ensure their physical health and safety on the job. Additionally, the company hosted an exclusive interactive session with Mrs. Disha Shukla, Factory Inspector (Korba), who shared life-saving fire safety techniques, risk awareness, and emergency preparedness with BALCO\u2019s Ladies Club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A key feature of the celebrations was the identification of the \u2018Best Safety Zone\u2019 within the plant, as part of a rigorous auditing process aimed at promoting best safety practices among departments. To further boost awareness, a safety quiz for employees was organized, along with slogan and drawing competitions involving local schools, which encouraged wider community participation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>CEO Emphasizes &#8216;Zero Harm&#8217; Vision for Safety<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking about the company\u2019s commitment to safety, Mr. Rajesh Kumar, CEO &amp; Director of BALCO, stated, \u201cAt BALCO, safety is not just a protocol but a fundamental value that defines our operational excellence.
