Officers and Employees Directed to Register via Mobile Phones; \u2018Mission Karmayogi\u2019 Workshop Held During Sadhana Saptah to Accelerate Capacity Building<\/em><\/h4>\n

TFP Bureau, Raipur, April 8,2026: In a major push towards strengthening administrative efficiency and digital capacity building, Chief Secretary Mr. Vikasheel has directed all State Government departments to mandatorily onboard onto the Centre\u2019s iGOT training platform under the \u2018Mission Karmayogi\u2019 initiative.<\/p>\n

The Chief Secretary instructed departmental heads to ensure that not only their departments but also every officer and employee registers individually on the iGOT portal using their mobile phones. The move aims to ensure 100 percent participation in structured digital training programmes tailored to departmental needs.<\/p>\n

The directions were issued during a state-level workshop organised in Raipur under the aegis of the iGOT platform as part of the nationwide \u2018Sadhana Saptah\u2019 (Week of Practice) campaign. The workshop witnessed the participation of Departmental Secretaries, Joint Secretaries, Deputy Secretaries, Under Secretaries and Section Officers from various State Government departments. Senior officials from all districts joined the programme through video conferencing, reflecting the government\u2019s emphasis on uniform implementation across the state.<\/p>\n

The iGOT platform, developed under the Government of India\u2019s Mission Karmayogi, is designed to transform the capacity-building framework of civil servants by providing need-based, role-based and competency-driven training modules through a digital learning ecosystem.<\/p>\n

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Secretary stressed that onboarding onto the platform is not optional but mandatory for all departments. He directed department heads to identify relevant courses aligned with their functional requirements and assign them to officers and employees accordingly. This, he said, would ensure focused skill enhancement and improved service delivery.<\/p>\n

He underlined that training must move beyond a routine exercise and become a structured effort toward professional growth. By leveraging digital tools and modern learning systems, the state aims to create a responsive, transparent and citizen-centric administration.\"\"<\/p>\n

Officials highlighted during the workshop that the primary objective of onboarding onto iGOT is to integrate employees with a unified digital learning platform while linking it with the e-HRMS system. The integration will help track training progress, map competencies and ensure that capacity-building efforts are aligned with career progression and departmental responsibilities.<\/p>\n

The Chief Secretary also pointed out that the increasing use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the iGOT platform is enhancing the effectiveness of training delivery. AI-enabled features allow personalised course recommendations based on an individual\u2019s role, experience and skill gaps, making the learning process smarter and more outcome-oriented.<\/p>\n

Emphasising the importance of full participation, he called for achieving 100 percent onboarding within stipulated timelines. Departments were advised to closely monitor registration and course completion rates and submit periodic progress reports.<\/p>\n

During the workshop, participants were informed that training is not merely a tool for skill enhancement but also a mechanism for improving awareness and accountability. Through structured modules, employees can gain a deeper understanding of departmental schemes, policies, rules and operational procedures, leading to better coordination and implementation at the grassroots level.<\/p>\n

Senior officials observed that effective capacity building is essential for delivering quality public services, especially in a rapidly evolving governance landscape where digital systems and citizen expectations are constantly expanding.<\/p>\n

The workshop concluded with an interactive session in which officials sought clarifications regarding course selection, onboarding procedures and technical integration with existing administrative systems.<\/p>\n
