TFP Bureau, Raipur, April 26, 2026: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai<\/strong> on Sunday described the repeated mention of Chhattisgarh in Prime Minister Narendra Modi<\/strong>\u2019s monthly radio programme Mann Ki Baat<\/strong> as a matter of immense pride for the state, saying such recognition on a national platform inspires citizens and strengthens the state\u2019s identity.<\/p>\n

The Chief Minister was addressing a large gathering at Vinayak City in Bhatagaon, Raipur, where he joined citizens to listen to the 133rd episode of Mann Ki Baat<\/em>. The Prime Minister, during the broadcast, appreciated the efforts undertaken in Chhattisgarh for blackbuck conservation, drawing national attention to the state\u2019s initiatives in wildlife and biodiversity protection.<\/p>\n

Calling it a \u201cspecial honour\u201d for the people of Chhattisgarh, Sai said the Prime Minister\u2019s acknowledgement reflects the dedication and collective efforts of local communities, forest officials and environmental stakeholders in protecting the blackbuck population.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen the Prime Minister mentions Chhattisgarh\u2019s achievements on such a respected national platform, it not only brings recognition but also boosts the morale of our citizens. It reaffirms that the hard work of our people is being noticed across the country,\u201d the Chief Minister said.<\/p>\n

Mann Ki Baat as a Bridge Between Government and People<\/h3>\n

Sai described Mann Ki Baat<\/em> as a powerful medium that connects the nation and highlights inspiring grassroots initiatives from across India. He said the programme has emerged as an effective forum for celebrating innovation, public participation and exemplary work being done at the local level.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Prime Minister engages with citizens like a guardian, bringing forward inspiring stories and encouraging people to contribute positively to society. Such dialogue strengthens participatory governance and energises collective nation-building efforts,\u201d he remarked.<\/p>\n

The Chief Minister noted that the recognition of Chhattisgarh\u2019s blackbuck conservation efforts underscores the state\u2019s firm commitment to environmental protection and biodiversity conservation. He added that the model being developed in the state could serve as an inspiration for other regions seeking to balance development with ecological preservation.<\/p>\n

Focus on Environmental and Renewable Initiatives<\/h3>\n

Referring to the broader themes discussed in the programme, Sai highlighted the Centre\u2019s decision to classify bamboo separately from trees, a move that has significantly increased its utilisation and generated livelihood opportunities, particularly for women and forest-dependent communities.\"\"<\/p>\n
