TFP Bureau, Raipur, April 30,2026: The Government of Chhattisgarh will launch the Sushasan Tihar 2026 Good Governance Festival on May 1, a statewide campaign aimed at ensuring faster resolution of public grievances and improving delivery of government services. The campaign will continue across the state until June 10.<\/p>\n
The initiative has been announced under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, who has directed all District Collectors to ensure time-bound resolution of citizens\u2019 complaints. The Chief Minister said prompt, transparent and simple delivery of services is the foundation of good governance.<\/p>\n
As part of the campaign, large-scale grievance redressal camps will be organised in both rural and urban areas where citizens can submit applications and receive benefits under various government schemes.<\/p>\n
Officials have been instructed to first clear pending cases up to April 30 during the initial phase of the campaign. These include revenue-related matters such as land mutation, partition and demarcation, pending wage payments under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act, delayed payments in beneficiary-oriented schemes, and issuance of income, caste and residence certificates.<\/p>\n
Authorities have also been asked to resolve problems related to electricity supply, faulty transformers and drinking water facilities, including hand pumps.<\/p>\n
Eligible citizens will be assisted in accessing benefits under key welfare schemes such as the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, ration cards, the Ayushman Bharat health insurance scheme and social security pension programmes.<\/p>\n
Under the campaign, grievance redressal camps will be organised from May 1 to June 10. In rural areas, camps will cover clusters of 15 to 20 gram panchayats, while in urban areas camps will be organised ward-wise. Officials said applications will be accepted and benefits delivered on the spot wherever possible, with most cases expected to be resolved within one month.<\/p>\n
The camps will also serve as platforms to spread awareness about government schemes, and applicants will be informed about the status of their applications.<\/p>\n
Public representatives including ministers, Members of Parliament and MLAs will visit the camps to interact directly with citizens and review arrangements. Senior officials, including the Chief Secretary and in-charge secretaries, will also conduct inspections.<\/p>\n
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai is expected to personally visit districts during the campaign to conduct surprise inspections of development works, take feedback from beneficiaries and hold review meetings with district officials.<\/p>\n
The state government has directed the Public Relations Department and district administrations to carry out extensive awareness campaigns through digital, print and local media so that more citizens can participate in the initiative.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
