<\/p>\nTFP Bureau, Raipur, May 1,2026: The statewide \u2018Sushasan Tihar\u2019 (Good Governance Festival) 2026 began across Chhattisgarh on Thursday, marking the start of a major public outreach campaign aimed at strengthening grassroots governance and resolving citizens\u2019 grievances.<\/p>\n
The campaign, being conducted from May 1 to June 10 under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, seeks to bridge the gap between the administration and the public by ensuring transparent, prompt and responsive governance.<\/p>\n
On the first day of the initiative, grievance redressal camps were organised in several districts where ministers, public representatives and administrative officials directly interacted with citizens and listened to their concerns. The programme is designed to ensure that the benefits of government schemes reach the last person in society.<\/p>\n
A large number of villagers participated in the camp held at Risda village in Balodabazar-Bhatapara district. Out of 573 applications received at the camp, around 47 percent were resolved on the spot. Revenue Minister Tank Ram Verma directed officials to ensure that every application is resolved within a fixed timeframe and that feedback is taken from applicants regarding the resolution process.<\/p>\n
Similarly, a camp organised at Dhanras village in the Katghora development block of Korba district received 332 applications, of which 103 were resolved immediately. Commerce, Industry and Labour Minister Lakhanlal Dewangan said the campaign is proving to be an effective platform for delivering government schemes to the grassroots level.<\/p>\n
At another camp held in Kathiya village under the Abhanpur development block of Raipur district, several beneficiaries received assistance under various welfare schemes in the presence of Minister Guru Khushwant Saheb. Women were provided job cards under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act, while a specially-abled beneficiary, Yogesh Yadav, received a motorised tricycle.<\/p>\n
Various government departments also set up stalls at the camps, offering citizens a \u201cone-stop solution\u201d for accessing different schemes and services. People received benefits such as Ayushman Bharat health cards, ration cards, Kisan Credit Card loans and connections under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, along with agricultural and fisheries support.<\/p>\n
Health department teams also provided services such as digital X-ray facilities at the camps, offering immediate medical assistance to villagers.<\/p>\n
Through the Sushasan Tihar campaign, the state government aims not only to resolve grievances but also to increase awareness about government schemes and encourage self-reliance among citizens. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai is personally monitoring the campaign and is expected to conduct surprise inspections to review its implementation on the ground.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
