TFP Bureau, Raipur, May 3, 2026:<\/strong> Vishnu Deo Sai on Sunday launched his extensive statewide outreach tour under the \u201cSushasan Tihar\u201d campaign, beginning a 40-day programme aimed at taking governance directly to the grassroots and ensuring time-bound resolution of public grievances.<\/p>\n

The Chief Minister departed from the Police Line helipad in Raipur and flew to the remote forest village of Chandagarh in Pathalgaon block of Jashpur district, where his arrival was met with enthusiastic greetings from villagers. The campaign, which began on May 1, will continue until June 10 and is designed to enable direct interaction between the government and citizens across rural and tribal regions of the state.<\/p>\n

Senior officials, including Principal Secretary Subodh Kumar Singh and Special Secretary Rajat Bansal, accompanied the Chief Minister throughout the tour.<\/p>\n

Addressing villagers, Shri Sai said that Sushasan Tihar aims to transform governance by ensuring that officials reach people\u2019s doorsteps rather than requiring citizens to repeatedly visit government offices. He sought feedback on ration distribution, drinking water supply, electricity, land records, and other basic services, directing officials to resolve complaints without delay.<\/p>\n

When asked about her dream, the young girl replied softly, \u201cI want to become a doctor.\u201d Shri Sai smiled warmly, blessed her and encouraged her aspiration, creating an emotional moment that resonated deeply with villagers. During his visit to Bhainsamuda, the Chief Minister made an unscheduled stop at the under-construction house of beneficiary Anusuya Painkra under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Stepping out of his vehicle, he closely examined the quality of construction and interacted with labourers and local mason Mohan Chakresh.<\/p>\n

He directed the district administration to provide cricket kits and sports uniforms to the students and emphasised that children in rural areas should have access to adequate sports facilities to nurture their talents. Promoting Women\u2019s Self-Reliance: From Lakhpati Didi to SHGs<\/h3>\n

During the Chandagarh visit, Shri Sai met \u201cLakhpati Didis\u201d associated with self-help groups, including Sumila Korwa, who started a grocery shop with assistance under the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana. Praising her entrepreneurial initiative, the Chief Minister purchased items from her shop, paying personally, and described such women as symbols of economic empowerment in tribal areas.<\/p>\n

He noted that over eight lakh women in the state have achieved the status of \u201cLakhpati Didis,\u201d contributing significantly to rural self-reliance.<\/p>\n

In Balrampur district, he visited the Rural Self-Employment Training Institute (RSETI), interacted with trainees and Pashu Sakhis, and highlighted that 510 trainees had been prepared for self-employment through 16 batches. He also distributed a cheque of Rs 21 lakh to five self-help groups and honoured representatives of a child-friendly Panchayat for their achievements.\"\"<\/p>\n

The Chief Minister inspected the under-construction Nalanda Campus in Balrampur, being built at a cost of Rs 4.48 crore. He directed officials to ensure timely completion with high construction standards. The campus is envisioned as a modern study centre equipped with e-library facilities and competitive examination resources to benefit youth in the district.<\/p>\n

Sudden Visit to Silma in Surguja, Assures Immediate Relief<\/h3>\n

Continuing his tour, Shri Sai made an unexpected landing in Shantipara of Gram Panchayat Silma in Batouli block of Surguja district. Through a Jan Chaupal, he listened to grievances and instructed officials to resolve applications within defined timelines.<\/p>\n

When a villager, Rajesh Shukla, sought relief from electricity dues citing financial hardship, the Chief Minister assured necessary action, including waiver consideration and financial assistance. The assurance drew appreciation from local residents.<\/p>\n

Strong Message on Administrative Accountability in Balrampur<\/h3>\n

In a review meeting held in Balrampur under the Sushasan Tihar programme, the Chief Minister delivered a firm message on accountability. Expressing displeasure at a Public Works Department officer for failing to provide accurate details on road repairs, he directed him to verify facts immediately and return with correct information.<\/p>\n

\u201cGovernment offices are centres of service and temples of public welfare,\u201d Shri Sai said, stressing that negligence would not be tolerated.<\/p>\n

He ordered that all damaged roads must be repaired before the onset of monsoon, prioritising populated areas. He also announced plans to digitise revenue records, enabling citizens to access land documents from home, and revealed that a Chief Minister Helpline would soon be launched for toll-free grievance registration.\"\"<\/p>\n
