{"id":737,"date":"2025-04-01T03:20:52","date_gmt":"2025-04-01T03:20:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thefrontpage24.com\/?p=737"},"modified":"2025-04-01T03:20:52","modified_gmt":"2025-04-01T03:20:52","slug":"chhattisgarh-government-launches-e-office-system-to-streamline-administrative-processes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thefrontpage24.com\/?p=737","title":{"rendered":"Chhattisgarh Government Launches E-Office System to Streamline Administrative Processes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"\" data-start=\"95\" data-end=\"180\">TFP Bureau, Raipur, April 1, 2025: The <strong data-start=\"213\" data-end=\"241\">Vishnudev Sai government<\/strong> of Chhattisgarh is set to implement a comprehensive <strong data-start=\"294\" data-end=\"313\">e-office system<\/strong> starting <strong data-start=\"323\" data-end=\"334\">April 1<\/strong>, aiming to replace the traditional manual file system and tackle issues such as corruption and inefficiency. Under the new system, files will be handled digitally on computers, with an emphasis on timely settlement. Additionally, concerned officers will receive SMS notifications regarding the arrival of files, ensuring better tracking and management.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"689\" data-end=\"1267\">According to officials from the <strong data-start=\"721\" data-end=\"758\">General Administration Department<\/strong>, the target is to implement e-office across all state government departments. The <strong data-start=\"841\" data-end=\"860\">Mahanadi Bhawan<\/strong> will also be included, with plans to digitize over 2 lakh files by the end of the initiative. The <strong data-start=\"959\" data-end=\"986\">Digital Secretariat 1.0<\/strong> program, which started in 2014 and continued through 2021, digitized 2 lakh files in the Ministry during its pilot phase. Following its success, <strong data-start=\"1132\" data-end=\"1159\">Digital Secretariat 2.0<\/strong> was launched in August 2021, and the transition to an e-office system is now expanding to the entire state.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1269\" data-end=\"1794\">The <strong data-start=\"1273\" data-end=\"1296\">Digital Secretariat<\/strong> initiative, aimed at boosting administrative efficiency and reducing paper usage, has already started the shift to <strong data-start=\"1412\" data-end=\"1452\">NIC\u2019s e-File Module (e-Office Suite)<\/strong>. This move is expected to enhance transparency, streamline workflow, and ensure faster processing of files. As of <strong data-start=\"1567\" data-end=\"1578\">April 1<\/strong>, e-office operations will also be rolled out in departmental head offices, directorates, and district offices. Nodal officers have been appointed in all departments to ensure the timely implementation of the system.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1796\" data-end=\"2166\">The e-office system offers three methods for file transmission: <strong data-start=\"1860\" data-end=\"1875\">Aadhaar OTP<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1877\" data-end=\"1917\">digital signature certificates (DSC)<\/strong>, and a temporary exemption allowing files to be sent directly without an OTP or e-signature.
