<\/p>\nTFP Bureau, Raipur, May 21, 2026: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai on Thursday said that Sushasan Tihar 2026 is not merely an administrative exercise but a dedicated campaign aimed at resolving the grievances and concerns of citizens by taking governance directly to their doorsteps. Addressing a Samadhan Shivir organised at Ramanujnagar-Patna in Surajpur district under the ongoing initiative, he said the government and administration are proactively reaching out to people to ensure timely redressal of complaints, issues and local requirements.<\/p>\n
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said that the State Government’s objective is to ensure that the benefits of welfare schemes reach the last person in society and that citizens receive improved access to public services and facilities. He stressed that it is the responsibility of any government to go among the people, understand realities at the grassroots, and assess whether schemes and services are reaching the right beneficiaries at the right time.<\/p>\n
Shri Sai further said that his visit to Surajpur marked his 11th district tour under Sushasan Tihar, adding that the government has set a target of covering all 33 districts of the state by June 10. He informed that district-wise reviews are being conducted with officials to assess implementation of government schemes, disposal of revenue-related matters and resolution of pending cases. Efforts are also underway to ensure swift resolution of issues at the Gram Panchayat level.<\/p>\n
Chief Minister said that no compromise would be made on standards of development works and public amenities. He added that systems are being continuously monitored through surprise inspections. Referring to tendupatta collector families, Shri Sai recalled that villagers earlier had to walk barefoot into forests to collect tendu leaves, exposing themselves to risks of injuries. However, under the Charan Paduka Yojana, they are now receiving support and protection.<\/p>\n
Chief Minister said the government remains committed to bringing positive changes in the lives of farmers, women, poor families and rural communities. He informed that a bonus amount of Rs 3,716 crore has been distributed to farmers and paddy procurement is being carried out at the rate of Rs 3,100 per quintal. He further said that 18 lakh houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana have been sanctioned since the formation of the government.<\/p>\n
Interacting with women present at the event, Shri Sai sought feedback regarding the Mahtari Vandan Yojana and said nearly 70 lakh women are benefiting from the scheme. He also highlighted citizen-centric initiatives such as the Ram Lalla Darshan Yojana, Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Yojana and Atal Digital Seva Kendras, which are helping deliver essential services to citizens. Through the e-District system, he said, services including income, caste and residence certificates would increasingly become available from home.<\/p>\n
Chief Minister also announced that a Chief Minister Helpline would soon be launched, enabling citizens to register grievances through a toll-free number with regular monitoring of redressal mechanisms. Referring to the Mukhyamantri Bijli Bill Samadhan Yojana, he said electricity bill resolution camps would continue till June 31 and urged people to avail themselves of the facility. He also encouraged citizens to join the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana and contribute towards energy self-reliance.<\/p>\n

Making three key announcements for the district’s development, Chief Minister Shri Sai announced the construction of a mini stadium at Rampur-Ramanujnagar, establishment of a Higher Secondary School at Patna, and construction of a boundary wall for the Surajpur Municipal Polytechnic. He said building a developed and prosperous Chhattisgarh remains a key commitment of the State Government and development activities would be further accelerated.<\/p>\n
Following the programme, the Chief Minister visited the residence of farmer Shri Raghunandan Singh, where he shared a warm interaction with beneficiaries over a traditional Chhattisgarhi meal served on dona-pattal made from sarai leaves.<\/p>\n
He relished regional delicacies including Koylar Bhaji, Edhar prepared from Kochai leaves, and mango chutney, while drinking water served in earthen glass.
