These projects will expand India\u2019s railway network by 1,247 kilometers, connecting 15 districts across Maharashtra, Odisha, and Chhattisgarh.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"655\" data-end=\"1261\">Among the approved projects, the \u2018Kharsia-Naya Raipur-Parmalkasa 5th and 6th Line\u2019 stands out as a game-changer for Chhattisgarh. The Rs 8,741 crore initiative will revolutionize the industrial landscape by providing enhanced connectivity to key areas such as Baloda Bazar, which are vital for cement plants, steel units, and other industrial sectors. The new rail route will facilitate the transportation of essential materials like agricultural products, coal, iron ore, cement, and limestone, lowering freight costs, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring a smoother supply chain for industries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1263\" data-end=\"1918\"><strong data-start=\"1263\" data-end=\"1330\">Chief Minister Hails the Project as a Step Toward Self-Reliance<\/strong><br data-start=\"1330\" data-end=\"1333\" \/>Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai expressed immense satisfaction over the approval of the rail project, calling it a \u201chistoric milestone\u201d for the state. \u201cThis railway project, under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, is a major leap forward in our pursuit of a self-reliant India. The Kharsia-Naya Raipur-Parmalkasa line will not only enhance industrial activities in coal, cement, and iron ore sectors but will also open up new opportunities for employment and self-employment in the region. This project represents the \u2018fast track\u2019 of Chhattisgarh\u2019s development,\u201d said CM Sai.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1920\" data-end=\"2106\">He also extended gratitude to Prime Minister Modi for recognizing the state\u2019s potential and focusing on rail infrastructure to bring Chhattisgarh to the forefront of industrial progress.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2108\" data-end=\"2141\"><strong data-start=\"2108\" data-end=\"2139\">Key Features of the Project<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2142\" data-end=\"2901\">\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"2142\" data-end=\"2209\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2144\" data-end=\"2209\"><strong data-start=\"2144\" data-end=\"2160\">Total Length<\/strong>: 278 km long railway line with 615 km of track<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"2210\" data-end=\"2255\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2212\" data-end=\"2255\"><strong data-start=\"2212\" data-end=\"2224\">Stations<\/strong>: 21 stations along the route<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"2256\" data-end=\"2392\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2258\" data-end=\"2392\"><strong data-start=\"2258\" data-end=\"2276\">Infrastructure<\/strong>: 48 major bridges, 349 minor bridges, 14 Road Over Bridges (ROBs), 184 Road Under Bridges (RUBs), 5 rail flyovers<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"2393\" data-end=\"2490\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2395\" data-end=\"2490\"><strong data-start=\"2395\" data-end=\"2415\">Traffic Capacity<\/strong>: 21 to 38 million tonnes of cargo, 8 mail\/express\/semi high-speed trains<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"2491\" data-end=\"2663\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2493\" data-end=\"2520\"><strong data-start=\"2493\" data-end=\"2517\">Environmental Impact<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2524\" data-end=\"2663\">\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"2524\" data-end=\"2572\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2526\" data-end=\"2572\">Saving of 22 crore litres of diesel annually<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"2576\" data-end=\"2663\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2578\" data-end=\"2663\">Reduction of 113 crore kg of CO2 emissions (equivalent to planting 4.5 crore trees)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"2664\" data-end=\"2737\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2666\" data-end=\"2737\"><strong data-start=\"2666\" data-end=\"2682\">Cost Savings<\/strong>: Rs 2,520 crore per annum compared to road transport<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"2738\" data-end=\"2901\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2740\" data-end=\"2901\"><strong data-start=\"2740\" data-end=\"2759\">Direct Benefits<\/strong>: Districts such as Raigarh, Janjgir-Champa, Sakti, Bilaspur, Baloda Bazar, Raipur, Durg, and Rajnandgaon will see direct economic benefits.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2903\" data-end=\"3331\"><strong data-start=\"2903\" data-end=\"2971\">A New Era for Chhattisgarh\u2019s Industrial and Environmental Growth<\/strong><br data-start=\"2971\" data-end=\"2974\" \/>The Kharsia-Naya Raipur-Parmalkasa rail project will not only boost industrial and business activities in the region but also enhance Chhattisgarh\u2019s transport infrastructure while promoting environmental sustainability.
