Home Department tops digital file disposal rankings as ministry staff receive appreciation letters for efficiency and timely attendance<\/em><\/h3>\n

TFP Bureau, Raipur, June 15,2026: Chief Secretary Shri Vikas Sheel on Monday presented letters of appreciation to officials and employees at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan in recognition of their outstanding performance in e-office file disposal and punctual attendance during the month of May.<\/p>\n

Addressing the felicitation ceremony, the Chief Secretary urged all departments and staff members to strive for greater efficiency in digital governance and to maintain discipline by reporting to work on time. He congratulated the award recipients and encouraged others to emulate their commitment to excellence.<\/p>\n

In the departmental rankings for e-office performance, the Home Department secured the top position, followed by the Social Welfare Department in second place and the General Administration Department in third. Appreciation letters were received on behalf of the departments by Secretary Neha Champawat, Principal Secretary Shahla Nigar and Secretary Rajat Kumar, respectively.<\/p>\n

Among departmental secretaries, Rajat Kumar, Secretary of the General Administration and Commerce & Industries Departments, was recognised for the highest level of file disposal through the e-office platform. Principal Secretary Sushma Sawant of the Law and Legislative Affairs Department secured second place, while Home and Labour Secretary Himshikhar Gupta was placed third.<\/p>\n

The awards also recognised excellence across various administrative levels, including Joint Secretaries, Deputy Secretaries, Under Secretaries, Section Officers, Senior Secretariat Assistants, Junior Secretariat Assistants and technical staff for their effective use of the e-office system.<\/p>\n

In the Joint Secretary category, Anupam Trivedi of the Scheduled Tribe Development Department secured first place, followed by Bhupendra Kumar Rajput in second and Kamlesh Bansod of the Transport Department in third. Among Deputy Secretaries, Doordeshi Ram Sontapar of the Forest and Climate Change Department topped the rankings, with Kishore Kumar Bhuarya and Ritu Verma finishing second and third, respectively.<\/p>\n

Arun Kumar Mishra of the Law and Legislative Affairs Department was recognised as the best-performing Under Secretary, while Puran Lal Sahu and Maganlal Pawar secured second and third positions. Nandkumar Meshram led the Section Officer category, with Virendra Kumar and Bholenath Sarthi also being honoured.<\/p>\n

In the Senior Secretariat Assistant category, Durgesh Ratre secured first place, followed by Ramgopal Sen and Kamlesh Yadu. Umesh Yadav topped the Junior Secretariat Assistant category, while Bhanuprasad and Surendra Kumar received second and third positions. Dipesh Kumar was recognised for outstanding performance among Grade I, II and III Computer Operators in the Technical Section.<\/p>\n

The Chief Secretary also felicitated a number of officers and staff members for exemplary punctuality and attendance, underscoring the importance of discipline and professionalism in public administration. The honourees represented a wide range of departments, including Urban Administration, Revenue, Food and Civil Supplies, Finance, Higher Education, Animal Husbandry, Panchayat and Rural Development and the General Administration Department.<\/p>\n

The initiative forms part of the state government’s efforts to strengthen digital governance, improve administrative efficiency and foster a culture of accountability and timely public service.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
