TFP Bureau, Raipur, June 26,2026: The Chhattisgarh Government has extended the deadline for applications under the prestigious Chief Minister’s IT Fellowship 2026, offering aspiring technology professionals additional time to apply for the M.Tech. programme in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. The last date for online applications has now been extended from July 1 to July 7, 2026.<\/p>\n

The programme will be conducted at the prestigious International Institute of Information Technology Naya Raipur and is aimed at nurturing skilled professionals in emerging technologies while strengthening innovation-driven governance in the state.<\/p>\n

Under the fellowship, selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of \u20b950,000. In addition, the state government will bear the entire tuition fee for the two-year postgraduate programme, making it a significant opportunity for meritorious students from Chhattisgarh.<\/p>\n

A distinctive feature of the Chief Minister’s IT Fellowship is its integration of academic learning with practical governance applications. Along with advanced technical education in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, fellows will be assigned real-world projects across various state government departments. This hands-on exposure is expected to provide valuable industry and governance experience while enabling participants to contribute to the state’s digital transformation initiatives.<\/p>\n

Officials said the programme has been designed to create a pool of highly skilled professionals capable of leveraging emerging technologies to improve public service delivery and support innovation-led development.<\/p>\n

Only candidates who are domiciled in Chhattisgarh are eligible to apply. Interested applicants can submit their applications online until July 7. Detailed information regarding eligibility criteria, admission procedures and the application process is available on the institute’s official website.<\/p>\n
