Company urges stakeholders to use only official website and email domain, report suspicious online communications to prevent cyber fraud<\/strong><\/h3>\n

TFP Bureau, Korba, July 7,2026: Bharat Aluminium Company Limited (BALCO), a unit of Vedanta Aluminium Metal Limited, has issued a public advisory cautioning citizens, employees, business partners and other stakeholders against fraudulent websites, fake domains and deceptive email IDs being used in cyber fraud attempts.<\/p>\n

The company said cybercriminals may create websites, internet domains and email addresses resembling BALCO’s name, brand, products or services to mislead people into sharing confidential, financial or business information or to spread malware and carry out other online scams.<\/p>\n

In a statement, BALCO clarified that it has no association with, nor has it authorised or endorsed, any unofficial websites, domains or communication channels claiming to represent the company.<\/p>\n

The company emphasised that its only official website is www.balcoindia.com<\/a><\/strong>, while all authorised corporate emails are issued exclusively through the @vedanta.co.in<\/strong> domain. Stakeholders have been advised to verify the authenticity of websites and email addresses before responding to any communication or sharing personal, financial or business-related information.<\/p>\n

BALCO urged the public to treat as suspicious any email originating from domains other than @vedanta.co.in<\/strong> or any website operating from an address other than www.balcoindia.com<\/a><\/strong>. It also appealed to users to immediately report any suspicious website, domain or email to the company’s security team for appropriate action.<\/p>\n

The company further clarified that it will not be responsible for any losses arising from interactions or transactions conducted through fraudulent, unauthorised or third-party websites, domains or email addresses.<\/p>\n

Reiterating the importance of cyber awareness, BALCO urged all stakeholders to remain vigilant against online fraud and rely only on the company’s official communication channels for information and services.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
