TFP Bureau, Raipur, July 24,2026:<\/strong> A delegation of representatives from private universities in Chhattisgarh called on Governor Ramen Deka at Raj Bhavan (Lok Bhavan) on Friday and held discussions on the future of higher education in the state, including the proposed Chhattisgarh Private Universities (Establishment and Operation) Amendment Bill, 2026.<\/p>\n During the courtesy meeting, the delegation briefed the Governor on various aspects of the proposed legislation relating to the establishment and operation of new private universities. They also exchanged views on strengthening the higher education ecosystem and expanding access to quality education across the state.<\/p>\n Governor Deka emphasized the importance of promoting quality, innovation and academic excellence in higher education institutions. He shared his views on creating an enabling environment for the growth of universities while ensuring that students receive quality education aligned with national and global standards.<\/p>\n The meeting was attended by Gajraj Pagaria, Chancellor of MATS University, Raipur; I.P.
