The Governor was addressing the ‘Mukhi Samvad’ programme, organized by the Pujya Chhattisgarh Sindhi Panchayat in Raipur, where representatives from 128 Sindhi Panchayats across the state gathered on a common platform to discuss social and community issues.<\/p>\n
Speaking at the event, Governor Deka said the Sindhi community transformed the pain of losing its homeland during Partition into a source of strength. He noted that through hard work, resilience and enterprise, the community established itself in trade, industry, education and social service while preserving its rich cultural heritage and traditions.<\/p>\n
He said the journey of the Sindhi community serves as an inspiration for future generations, demonstrating how perseverance and unity can overcome even the most difficult challenges.<\/p>\n
The Governor praised the Sindhi Panchayat system, describing it as the backbone of the community and an effective platform for promoting social harmony, cooperation and progressive thinking.<\/p>\n
