{"id":9611,"date":"2026-09-06T02:11:20","date_gmt":"2026-09-06T02:11:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thefrontpage24.com\/?p=9611"},"modified":"2026-09-06T02:11:20","modified_gmt":"2026-09-06T02:11:20","slug":"adani-foundation-screens-3005-people-for-eye-problems-in-25-korba-villages","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thefrontpage24.com\/?p=9611","title":{"rendered":"Adani Foundation Screens 3,005 People for Eye Problems in 25 Korba Villages"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>35 rural eye camps conducted over six weeks; 2,303 people receive spectacles while 498 patients referred for further treatment<\/h4>\n<p>TFP Bureau, Korba, September 6, 2026: The Adani Foundation has intensified efforts to improve access to primary eye care in rural areas of Korba, screening 3,005 people from 25 villages through a series of 35 eye screening camps conducted over nearly one-and-a-half months.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative, organised in collaboration with Korba Power Limited, Patadi, was conducted from July 13 to August 26, 2026, bringing basic eye screening services closer to rural communities and reducing the need for residents to travel long distances for consultations.<\/p>\n<p>Of the 3,005 people screened, 1,745 were men and 1,260 were women. Following the examinations, <strong>2,303 pairs of spectacles<\/strong> were distributed to those requiring vision correction. This included 1,374 pairs for men and 929 pairs for women.<\/p>\n<h3>498 Cases Referred for Further Treatment<\/h3>\n<p>The screening drive also helped identify people requiring additional medical attention. A total of <strong>498 cases<\/strong>\u2014268 men and 230 women\u2014were referred for further treatment.
