TFP Bureau, Raipur, January 02, 2024: On the day of the New Year, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai convened at Ministry Mahanadi Bhawan to initiate departmental proceedings. During this event, various secretaries from different departments extended their New Year wishes to the Chief Minister.
Chief Minister Shri Sai reciprocated the greetings and emphasized the significance of the new year, stating, “Today is the first day of the year. Let us review how we can work with better strategy and sensitivity towards achieving our departmental goals in the next one year.” He acknowledged the high expectations from the new government and stressed the importance of collective hard work to meet public expectations.
Encouraging Secretary-level officers to focus on schemes designed for public welfare, Chief Minister Shri Sai highlighted the positive impact it would have at the ground level. He specifically discussed the guarantees made by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to the people of Chhattisgarh, emphasizing the government’s commitment to fulfilling these promises. The Chief Minister expressed that the progress expected in the implementation of central schemes over the last five years should benefit the common people, covering essential needs from Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana to providing clean drinking water.
In alignment with the government’s intentions for rapid progress in public welfare schemes, Chief Minister Shri Sai informed about the launch of the Atal Monitoring App on Good Governance Day. The app is designed to provide updated information about the progress of various government schemes.
During the discussion, Chief Minister Shri Sai urged secretaries to keep a vigilant eye on the ground-level implementation of departmental schemes. Prompt communication of any challenges faced was encouraged to ensure immediate corrective measures. Expressing confidence in the government’s commitment to good governance, Chief Minister Shri Sai concluded by stating that the New Year instills new enthusiasm, hopeful that everyone will contribute to the state’s progress in the coming year.
