Chhattisgarh Government Announces Administrative Appointments

Government to fostering efficiency and excellence in its administrative machinery

TFP Bureau, Raipur, January 18, 2024:  In a recent directive issued by the General Administration Department of the Chhattisgarh Government, several key administrative appointments have been announced, effective immediately.

1. Shri Subrata Sahu, I.A.S (1992):
The State Government has appointed Shri Subrata Sahu, I.A.S (1992), as the Upper Chief Secretary for the Religious Trust and Endowment Department. Simultaneously, he will be relieved from the additional charge of only Director General, Thakur Pyarelal State Panchayat and Rural Development Institute, with the administration assigning the additional charge of the academy to Shri Subrata Sahu. The Director General, Chhattisgarh, has been transferred in this process.

2. Smt. Renu Pillay, I.A.S.(1991):
Smt. Renu Pillay, I.A.S.(1991), who was Additional Chief Secretary for the Public Health and Family Welfare and Medical Education Department, has assumed charge as the Director General of Chhattisgarh Academy of Administration. She will be free from the additional charges of the Academy of Administration.

3. Shri Janak Prasad Pathak, I.A.S. (2007):
Shri Janak Prasad Pathak, I.A.S. (2007), the Managing Director of Mandi Board, has been temporarily posted as the Commissioner of Medical Education. He will hand over the additional charge of Registrar, Firms, and Institutions. The directive specifies that Shri Janak Prasad Pathak’s prestige and responsibility for the non-categorical post of Commissioner, Medical Education, will be equivalent to the senior category pay scale of the Indian Administrative Service.

4. Shri Mahendra Singh Savanni:
Shri Mahendra Singh Savanni, Additional Managing Director of Mandi Board, is now temporarily appointed to the post of Managing Director, Mandi Board, until further orders.

These appointments aim to strengthen the administrative framework and enhance the efficiency of various departments within the Chhattisgarh Government.
