Prime Minister Narendra Modi Encourages Youth to Contribute to ‘Developed India’

Virtual Distribution of Appointment Letters to Over 1 Lakh Youth Nationwide

TFP Bureau, Raipur; February 12, 2024: Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually extended congratulations and best wishes to over 1 lakh youth across the country by handing out appointment letters during the ‘Rozgar Mela’ organized at 46 locations in various states. Emphasizing the importance of youth participation in nation-building, the Prime Minister underscored the Government of India’s commitment to transparent job creation initiatives, ensuring equal opportunities for all young individuals to showcase their capabilities.

Addressing the virtual event following the foundation stone laying ceremony of Karmik Bhawan in Delhi, Prime Minister Modi highlighted the significance of the new facility in training and coordinating personnel. He emphasized the government’s efforts to create avenues for youth based on merit and hard work, with recruitment processes being streamlined and the implementation of the Startup Scheme providing diverse employment opportunities.

As part of the ongoing series of ‘Rozgar Mela’ events nationwide, a significant gathering took place at the Central Reserve Police Force Camp in Arang, Raipur district. Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, Anupriya Patel, participated in the virtual distribution of appointment letters to candidates at this Rozgar Mela. Patel distributed appointment letters to 75 candidates selected in various Central Armed Forces and other departments. She hailed the Rozgar Mela as a historic step towards fulfilling Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s commitment to prioritizing employment generation. She emphasized that the job fair would catalyze future employment opportunities and empower youth to contribute meaningfully to the nation’s development.

During the Rozgar Mela, appointment letters were distributed to candidates across various departments, including the Central Reserve Police Force, Border Security Force, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, Postal Department, Revenue C.B.I.C., FCI&PD, Labour (EPFO), Hindustan Copper Limited, and Higher Education.

The event saw the presence of Additional Director General (I.P.S.) Amit Kumar, Inspector General of Police (I.P.S.) Saket Kumar Singh, Deputy Inspector General Chhattisgarh Sector Central Reserve Police Force Vijay Shankar Pandey, Commandant of Group Center Raipur Ajay Kumar Singh, selected candidates and their families, as well as officials and employees of central departments.
