TFP Bureau, Raipur, 15 August 2024: Governor Shri Ramen Deka marked Independence Day by hoisting the national flag at Raj Bhavan this morning, followed by a parade inspection and salute. The ceremony was attended by First Lady Smt. Rani Deka Kakoti, who joined the Governor in celebrating the occasion.
In his address, Governor Deka extended his heartfelt congratulations to the officers and employees of the Raj Bhavan Secretariat. He took the time to meet with the families and children of the Raj Bhavan staff, distributing toffees and sweets to the children, creating a festive atmosphere.
Among the attendees were Secretary to the Governor Shri Yashwant Kumar, Legal Advisor Shri Bhishma Prasad Pandey, and Deputy Secretary Smt. Hina Animesh Netam. The parade at Raj Bhavan was led by Deputy Superintendent of Police Shri Sumit Gupta.
