TFP Bureau, Raipur,May 12,2025: Union Minister for Rural Development and Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, will participate in the “More Awas More Adhikar” program scheduled for 13 May 2025 in Ambikapur. The event will take place at the PG College Ground, Ambikapur, and promises to be a significant occasion for the residents of the region.
As part of the program, Shri Chouhan will distribute keys of happiness to the housing beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin (PMAY-G) and PM Janman. Additionally, he will perform the Bhoomi Pujan for beneficiaries who have begun the construction of their homes and provide them with housing approval letters. A highlight of the event will be the Griha Pravesh ceremony for 51,000 newly constructed homes under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in the state.
The event will also honor women from self-help groups who have excelled in their work, with a special recognition for “Lakhpati Didi.”
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai will preside over the program. Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs, Mr. Tokhan Sahu, Deputy Chief Ministers Mr. Vijay Sharma and Mr. Arun Sao, and Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh will also attend as special guests. Other distinguished public representatives, including Finance Minister Mr. O.P. Choudhary, Agriculture Minister Mr. Ram Vichar Netam, Public Health, Family Welfare, and Medical Education Minister Mr. Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, and Women and Child Development Minister Mrs. Laxmi Rajwade, will also be present.
