TFP Bureau, Raipur, May 21, 2025: In a surprise move under the ongoing state-wide Sushasan Tihar campaign, Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai made an unannounced landing by helicopter in Dokra village of Jashpur district today, where he participated in a Samadhan Campand made a series of significant development announcements.
Addressing a large gathering at the camp, CM Sai assured that all beneficiaries listed in the PM Awas Yojana survey will be provided housing under the central scheme. “In the past one and a half years, our government has fulfilled most of the guarantees made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. We are handing over house keys to beneficiaries whose PM Awas homes are complete and issuing approvals for new constructions,” he said.
Among the key announcements made by the Chief Minister were the establishment of a college and a mini stadium in Dokra, the upgradation of the local Priority Health Centre and Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram, as well as the beautification of the Doriyamuda reservoir. He also sanctioned Rs 20 lakh for the renovation of Mangal Bhawan and the Shiva temple complex.
Highlighting the government’s focus on good governance and grassroots delivery, CM Sai stated that the Sushasan Tiharinitiative is a proactive effort to connect with people village by village. “We are resolving public grievances directly through these camps,” he said. He also informed the villagers about the expansion of Atal Digital Seva Kendras, which have now been established in 1,460 gram panchayats to facilitate access to online government services and banking in rural areas.
Chief Minister Sai was accompanied by his wife Smt. Kaushalya Sai, Pathalgaon MLA and Vice President of the Sarguja Tribal Development Authority Smt. Gomti Sai, Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain, and Chief Secretary to the CM Shri Subodh Kumar Singh, among other officials and public representatives.
During the camp, the Chief Minister personally distributed house keys under PM Awas Yojana, approval letters for new houses, Mudra loan sanction letters, new ration cards, Kisan Credit Cards, social security pensions, MNREGA job cards, and fishing equipment such as nets and ice boxes. Sports kits were also distributed to local volleyball and cricket players. Students who featured in the merit lists of the Higher Secondary and High School Board exams were felicitated on the occasion.
The visit reinforced the government’s commitment to direct public outreach and delivery of schemes, while also bringing a wave of development promises to the remote tribal region.
