Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai Urges Officers to Work with Loyalty to Realize Developed Chhattisgarh Vision

TFP Bureau, Raipur, May 28, 2025: Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai held a comprehensive review meeting with officials from Balod, Narayanpur, and Kanker districts at the Joint District Office in Balod today. The meeting, part of the ongoing Sushasan Tihar initiative, focused on the progress and effective implementation of government schemes across these districts.

Addressing the officials, CM Sai emphasized the need for loyalty, commitment, and active participation to achieve the state’s vision of a developed Chhattisgarh. He highlighted that the positive feedback from the public indicates the successful reach of government welfare programs over the past eighteen months.

Linking development with cleanliness, the Chief Minister urged officials to give special attention to public participation in sanitation efforts and ensure swift resolution of cleanliness-related complaints. He praised the impact of the Swachh Bharat Mission initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, noting its visible results throughout the state.

CM Sai directed regular inspections of ongoing infrastructure and development projects, stressing timely completion and quality work. He encouraged officials to motivate farmers to adopt crop rotation and devise strategies to promote sugarcane cultivation in Balod and pulses and oilseed crops in Kanker and Narayanpur.

On administrative efficiency, the Chief Minister stressed the importance of prompt resolution of revenue cases to prevent public dissatisfaction. He instructed that Revenue Courts at district and tehsil levels maintain regular schedules and complete pending demarcation work before the onset of monsoon.

Highlighting social welfare, CM Sai called for the speedy processing of applications for income, caste, and residence certificates, especially through dedicated camps aimed at assisting students.

Expressing concern over Balod district’s examination results, the Chief Minister demanded immediate corrective measures to improve education outcomes. He reiterated the goal of full implementation of key central schemes including Ayushman Bharat, Har Ghar Jal, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, and Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana.

Additionally, the Chief Minister informed about major infrastructure projects underway, including the construction of 400/220/132 kV high-pressure substations at Deori and Dondilohara in Balod with an investment of Rs 500 crore, and the development of the Junwani to Chikhli road at a cost of Rs 11.47 crore.

The meeting was attended by Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Subodh Singh, Secretary to the Chief Minister Dr. Basavaraju S., Commissioners of Durg and Bastar Divisions, district Collectors, Superintendent of Police, and other senior officials.
