Union Minister Ramdas Athawale Meets Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Deo Sai

TFP Bureau, Raipur, July 1, 2025: Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Shri Ramdas Athawale, paid a courtesy visit to Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai at the Mantralaya, Mahanadi Bhawan, on Tuesday. The meeting centered around deepening cooperation between the Centre and state to enhance social welfare and ensure effective implementation of development schemes for vulnerable sections of society.

Chief Minister Sai welcomed the Union Minister with a traditional shawl, coconut, and memento, reflecting Chhattisgarh’s warm cultural hospitality. During their discussion, the Chief Minister apprised Shri Athawale of several initiatives being undertaken by the state government for the welfare of socially and educationally backward communities, senior citizens, and persons with disabilities.

Highlighting Chhattisgarh’s commitment to inclusive development, Shri Sai emphasized the state’s proactive approach in executing centrally sponsored schemes across all districts, ensuring that benefits reach the grassroots.

Union Minister Athawale appreciated the state government’s efforts and praised its effective groundwork in translating central welfare policies into on-the-ground impact. He stressed that continued coordination between the central and state governments is crucial to achieving meaningful progress in uplifting marginalized populations.

State Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap was also present during the meeting.
