Union Minister Durga Das Uikey Meets CM Vishnu Deo Sai to Discuss Tribal Development

TFP Bureau, Raipur, July 11, 2025: Union Minister of State for Tribal Affairs, Shri Durga Das Uikey, paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai at his official residence in Raipur today. The meeting marked a significant dialogue on accelerating the holistic development of Chhattisgarh’s tribal areas.

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai welcomed the Union Minister with a traditional Kosa silk stole and a bell-metal memento, reflecting the state’s rich tribal culture and craftsmanship.

The leaders engaged in in-depth discussions on key priorities including the empowerment of tribal youth, expanding educational and healthcare infrastructure, and strengthening rural facilities across tribal-dominated districts. CM Sai briefed the Minister on the state government’s ongoing welfare programs and development schemes tailored to uplift tribal communities.

Shri Durga Das Uikey commended the proactive efforts of the Chhattisgarh government and reaffirmed the Central Government’s unwavering commitment to supporting tribal welfare initiatives.
