TFP Bureau, Raipur, August 17, 2025: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai’s residence in Raipur was filled with devotion and joy on the occasion of Janmashtami, as he celebrated the festival with little children from the Anganwadi centre at Byron Bazaar. The children, dressed as Radha and Krishna, became the centre of attraction with their playful innocence and vibrant costumes, bringing the spirit of the festival alive.
The Chief Minister’s residence was beautifully adorned with flowers, colourful lights, and festive decorations, creating an atmosphere of devotion and celebration. The highlight of the evening was the children’s presentation of tableaux and episodes from Krishna Leela. Their simple yet expressive performances captivated the audience and filled the venue with laughter and cheer.
Joining the children in offering prayers to Lord Krishna, CM Sai sought blessings for the happiness, prosperity, and continued development of Chhattisgarh. Reflecting on the teachings of Lord Krishna, he said, “The life and leelas of Lord Krishna inspire us to follow the path of dharma, uphold morality, and fulfil our duties. With the faith and hard work of the people of Chhattisgarh, our state is moving forward steadily. It is our resolve to take inspiration from Krishna’s teachings to lead Chhattisgarh towards justice, harmony, and development.”
The Chief Minister personally distributed chocolates, prasad, and educational material to the children, adding warmth to the celebrations. He also underlined the importance of cultural and religious festivals in preserving traditions and instilling values in the younger generation. Extending greetings to the people of the state, he wished for peace and prosperity on this auspicious occasion.
Several dignitaries, including Chhattisgarh State Forest Development Corporation Chairman Ram Sevak Paikra, Chhattisgarh State Civil Supplies Corporation Chairman Sanjay Srivastava, Mitul Kothari, Sunil Pillai, officers and staff of the Chief Minister’s residence, and other distinguished guests were present at the celebration.
The event showcased a blend of devotion, culture, and community spirit, reflecting how festivals like Janmashtami continue to nurture social harmony and inspire collective progress in Chhattisgarh.
