TFP Bureau, Raipur, August 18, 2025 – Governor and Chancellor of Universities Shri Ramen Deka has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur, for securing the prestigious A+ grade from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
Vice Chancellor Professor Sachchidanand Shukla met the Governor at Raj Bhavan and formally presented the NAAC accreditation letter. Describing the achievement as a matter of pride for the entire state, Governor Deka said this milestone would inspire other government universities in Chhattisgarh to enhance academic quality and aim for higher national recognition.
It is noteworthy that Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University has become the first government general university in Chhattisgarh to receive the A+ grade. Over the past year, Governor Deka has consistently chaired review meetings with government universities, urging them to improve standards, adopt best practices, and actively participate in the NAAC evaluation process. The Governor’s guidance and encouragement played a significant role in helping the university achieve this distinction.
Expressing gratitude on behalf of the institution, Vice Chancellor Prof. Shukla credited the success to the dedication of the university’s faculty, staff, and students, along with the constructive support of the Governor. He emphasized that the recognition would further strengthen the university’s resolve to excel in academics, research, and innovation.
Also present during the meeting were Professor R.P. Parganiha, Director of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), and Professor Ambar Vyas, Registrar of the university. The achievement marks a new chapter for higher education in Chhattisgarh and sets a benchmark for other universities in the state.
