TFP Bureau, Raipur, September 9, 2025: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai chaired a high-level Unified Command meeting at the Circuit House in Nava Raipur today, reviewing the status of ongoing anti-Naxal operations alongside development initiatives in affected regions.
The meeting brought together senior officials from both the state government and central security forces. Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Vijay Sharma, Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Director General of Police Arun Dev Gautam, Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Manoj Kumar Pingua, and Secretary to CM Rahul Bhagat were present during the discussions.
Top officers from the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Border Security Force (BSF), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indian Air Force, and Chhattisgarh Police also participated in the deliberations.
The Unified Command meeting serves as a crucial platform for aligning security strategies with developmental priorities in Left Wing Extremism-affected districts. The Chief Minister emphasized the need for better coordination between security forces and civil administration to ensure both effective counter-insurgency operations and accelerated implementation of welfare schemes.
Officials reviewed the progress of infrastructure projects, road connectivity, health services, and livelihood programs being implemented in vulnerable areas. Discussions also focused on enhancing intelligence-sharing mechanisms, strengthening security camps, and improving welfare measures for personnel deployed in high-risk zones.
The meeting reaffirmed the State Government’s commitment to pursuing a dual approach — combining firm security measures with sustained development — to restore peace and stability in affected regions of Chhattisgarh.
