Chhattisgarh Government Launches Training on Digital Productivity and AI Integration at Triple-IT, Nava Raipur

TFP Bureau, Raipur, September 27, 2025: In a significant step towards modernizing governance, the Chhattisgarh Government has initiated a specialized training program on Digital Productivity Enhancement and AI Integration at Triple-IT, Nava Raipur. The program, running from September 24 to October 25, 2025, aims to equip government officials and employees with advanced digital skills and practical knowledge of artificial intelligence tools to enhance administrative efficiency, accountability, and citizen-centric governance.

The inaugural session was attended by senior officials, including Mr. Avinash Champawat, Secretary of the General Administration Department, who served as chief guest; Mr. Rahul Bhagat, Secretary to the Chief Minister and Secretary of Good Governance and Convergence, who participated as special guest; and Professor Dr. O.P. Vyas, Director of Triple-IT, who presided over the event.

More than 100 officers and employees from the General Administration, Home, and other departments are participating in the first phase of the training. On the opening day, participants were introduced to advanced features of digital productivity tools such as MS Word, Google Docs, Excel, and Google Sheets, along with sessions on data modeling.

Addressing the participants, Mr. Avinash Champawat emphasized that “skill upgrading is a continuous process that not only enhances professional capacity but also improves work culture.” He described the AI-based training as a milestone in capacity building and urged participants to make the best use of the opportunity.

Mr. Rahul Bhagat highlighted the transformative potential of digital technologies in government operations. He stressed that AI tools are vital for citizen-focused governance, citing the example of the state’s e-office system. “Effective use of technology can make governance more transparent, efficient, and accountable,” he remarked.

Professor Dr. O.P. Vyas underlined the importance of responsible and cautious use of AI. “AI must be used smartly and safely. While adopting digital innovations, we must ensure data security and avoid sharing sensitive information to prevent misuse in the public domain,” he said. He also called for a culture of continuous learning to make employees more AI-friendly.

Prof. K.G. Srinivas assured participants of the quality and practical focus of the training, noting that the modules are designed to bring measurable improvement in workplace efficiency.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, in a message to participants, stressed the urgency of adopting new-age technologies in governance. “The need of the hour is to enhance digital productivity and effectively integrate artificial intelligence into administrative work. AI tools and digital technologies will greatly increase transparency, accountability, and efficiency, while strengthening citizen-centric governance. Such training programs will empower officers and employees to deliver services more effectively and build public trust in government institutions,” the Chief Minister stated.

The initiative reflects Chhattisgarh’s commitment to strengthening governance through innovation, with technology-driven practices expected to improve decision-making, reduce delays, and bring greater transparency in administration.
