TFP Bureau, Raipur, December 25, 2025: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Thursday paid tributes to Bharat Ratna and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his birth anniversary by garlanding his statue at the Chief Minister’s residence in Raipur.
Remembering the late statesman, the Chief Minister said Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s life was wholly devoted to national service and the strengthening of democratic values. He remarked that Vajpayee would always remain immortal in the hearts of the people for his unwavering commitment to good governance, transparency and public welfare.
The Chief Minister described Atal Bihari Vajpayee as not only a towering statesman but also a sensitive poet, a visionary leader and a compassionate public figure who elevated politics into a meaningful instrument of public service. He said Vajpayee’s inclusive approach to development and his emphasis on dialogue and consensus continue to guide India’s democratic ethos.
Highlighting Vajpayee’s tenure as Prime Minister, the Chief Minister noted that the country witnessed a new direction in development and governance under his leadership. He said Vajpayee’s resolve to ensure that the benefits of progress reach the last person in society remains the foundation of present-day governance policies.
The Chief Minister added that the Chhattisgarh government is pursuing administrative reforms, transparent systems and timely delivery of services to strengthen good governance in the state, drawing inspiration from Vajpayee’s ideals and vision.
Appealing to the people of Chhattisgarh, he urged citizens to imbibe the values of honesty, sensitivity, inclusive development and constructive dialogue exemplified by Atal Bihari Vajpayee, and to actively contribute towards building a developed Chhattisgarh and a developed India.
