Arunodaya Coaching Lights the Path for Aspirants in Surajpur

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai interacts with students, lauds DMF-funded initiative and urges youth to dream big, set clear goals and pursue success with dedication

TFP Bureau, Raipur, January 18, 2026: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai on Saturday said initiatives like Arunodaya Coaching Institute are giving new direction and confidence to the youth of Chhattisgarh, particularly those from economically weaker backgrounds. During his visit to Surajpur, the Chief Minister held a warm and interactive session with students enrolled at the Arunodaya Coaching Institute, an initiative established with District Mineral Foundation (DMF) funds, and closely reviewed its academic environment and functioning.

Interacting directly with the students, Shri Sai enquired about their preparation strategies, challenges and future aspirations. He was informed that Arunodaya Coaching is a fully government-run and free coaching facility, where students are provided expert guidance, quality study material and structured academic support for various competitive examinations without any financial burden. The initiative has emerged as a major support system for underprivileged and meritorious students aspiring for government jobs.

Officials apprised the Chief Minister that students trained at the institute have achieved notable success in examinations conducted by the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (PSC), Vyapam, SSC, Railways and teacher recruitment boards. These achievements, he was told, have not only transformed individual lives but have also enhanced the educational reputation of Surajpur district.

Expressing satisfaction over the institute’s performance, Chief Minister Shri Sai said the consistent results reflect a well-planned academic framework, committed faculty and effective administrative support. He described Arunodaya Coaching as a source of inspiration for the district’s youth and congratulated the district administration for its vision and efficient execution. “When administrative commitment and social responsibility come together, such meaningful and far-reaching outcomes are achieved,” he said.

Highlighting the broader purpose of the District Mineral Foundation, the Chief Minister said DMF funds were created to ensure holistic development of mining-affected areas and to improve the quality of life of local communities. He stressed that investments made in education, health, skill development and basic infrastructure through DMF are visibly transforming remote and backward regions of the state. The Arunodaya Coaching Institute, he said, stands as a strong example of the positive impact of these efforts.

Addressing the students, Shri Sai also spoke about the Tribal Youth Hostel in Delhi, informing them that eligible students can avail free accommodation there while preparing for high-level competitive examinations, thereby enabling them to compete at the national level. He further highlighted the facilities available at the Nalanda Complex in Raipur, which offers integrated online and offline learning resources for competitive exam aspirants under one roof.

The Chief Minister noted that, inspired by the success of the Nalanda Complex, the state government is establishing high-tech libraries at 34 locations across Chhattisgarh. He announced that Surajpur too will soon have a modern library facility, which will significantly benefit local students and aspirants.

Shri Sai reiterated the state government’s commitment to making PSC examinations transparent, fair and credible on the lines of the UPSC. He issued a strong warning that any individual found involved in corruption or irregularities would face strict action without exception. He observed that increasing numbers of students from economically weaker sections are now clearing prestigious examinations, which he termed a direct outcome of transparent systems and equal access to opportunities.

During the interaction, student Devendra raised the need for updated books for competitive examinations. Responding promptly, the Chief Minister directed the Collector to arrange the latest books using discretionary funds. Another student, Geeta Singh, preparing for the PSC, sought advice on balancing studies and health. Shri Sai shared his daily routine, advising discipline, timely waking, regular yoga, spiritual focus and proper meals as keys to maintaining both physical and mental well-being.

Concluding the session, the Chief Minister shared his own life journey—from serving as a ward member and village head to becoming an MLA, MP and eventually the Chief Minister—to inspire the students. He urged them not to be distracted by trivial matters but to set clear goals, dream big and work with unwavering dedication and hard work. Describing the students as the future of the nation, Shri Sai extended his best wishes for their success and a bright future.
