TFP Bureau, Raipur, February 27, 2024: The city of Raipur was enveloped in grief today as news spread of the passing of Mrs. Pista Devi Agarwal, the revered wife of esteemed social worker Ramjilal Agarwal and beloved mother of State Education and Culture Minister Brijmohan Agarwal. At 91 years old, Pista Devi leaves behind a legacy of compassion and service, survived by her devoted family.
Her final journey is scheduled to commence from Ramji Vatika Maulshree Vihar, Raipur, at 10 am on 28th February, with her last rites to be solemnized at the Marwari cremation ground. Among those left to cherish her memory are Minister Brijmohan Agarwal, President of Agarwal Sabha Raipur Vijay Agarwal, and several other close relatives.
Chief Minister Offers Condolences
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai paid a visit to the residence of Education and Culture Minister Shri Brijmohan Agarwal at Maulshree Vihar in the capital Raipur late this evening. Expressing his deepest condolences on the passing of Smt. Pista Devi Agarwal, mother of Minister Shri Brijmohan Agarwal, the Chief Minister offered prayers for the departed soul and comfort to the grieving family.
