Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai inspected the under-construction Nalanda Campus in Jashpur’s Kunkuri block and directed officials to expedite work while maintaining quality standards. The ₹4.37-crore facility will offer round-the-clock study spaces, a digital library, and advanced learning amenities for competitive exam aspirants.
TFPRaipur, June 20, 2026: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Saturday inspected the under-construction Nalanda Campus at Saliatoli village in Kunkuri block of Jashpur district and reviewed the progress of the ambitious educational project aimed at providing modern study facilities for students preparing for competitive examinations.
During the visit, the Chief Minister assessed the ongoing construction of the 250-seat campus, being developed at an estimated cost of ₹4.37 crore, and instructed officials to ensure its completion within the stipulated timeframe without compromising on quality.
Emphasising the state government’s commitment to youth development, Sai said creating a conducive educational environment and providing access to quality resources for competitive exam preparation remain key priorities. He noted that the Nalanda Campus would serve as a modern centre for learning, guidance, and self-improvement, benefiting students and job aspirants across Jashpur district.
Officials informed the Chief Minister that plinth-level construction has already been completed and that the remaining work is progressing steadily. Sai directed the implementing agencies to accelerate construction while adhering to prescribed quality standards.
Designed as a state-of-the-art learning hub, the Nalanda Campus will offer 24-hour study facilities and include indoor and outdoor reading areas, an “Oxy-reading zone,” a digital library, Wi-Fi connectivity, and a repository of more than 50,000 books related to competitive examinations.
The project also incorporates several eco-friendly and technology-driven features. Solar power systems will be installed across the campus, while landscaping plans include the plantation of more than 50 varieties of native species. Additional amenities such as a Youth Tower, sports courts, cafeteria, ATM, and health zone are also planned to support the overall development of students.
To enhance security and efficiency, the campus will be equipped with RFID-based entry systems, biometric identification, and a modern book management system, creating a digitally enabled academic environment.
The Chief Minister said such innovative educational infrastructure would empower young people with better opportunities to achieve their aspirations and contribute to the vision of a developed Chhattisgarh.
The inspection was attended by Pathalgaon MLA and Vice-Chairperson of the Sarguja Tribal Development Authority Gomti Sai, Chhattisgarh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board Chairman Rampratap Singh, Chhattisgarh Matikala Board Chairman Shambhunath Chakraborty, Zila Panchayat President Salik Sai, Zila Panchayat Vice-President Shaurya Pratap Singh Judev, Municipal Council Vice-President Yash Pratap Singh Judev, and other public representatives and officials.
