Tourism and Culture Minister encourages young job seekers at divisional-level employment fair in Ambikapur, says talent, skills and continuous learning are key to better career opportunities.
TFP Bureau,Raipur, June 27,2026: Chhattisgarh Tourism and Culture Minister Rajesh Agrawal on Saturday urged young people to strengthen their skills and remain confident as the state government continues to expand employment and self-employment opportunities across the state.
Addressing a divisional-level job fair at the auditorium of Government Postgraduate College in Ambikapur, the Minister said the government’s priority is to ensure that employment opportunities match the talent, qualifications and skills of the state’s youth. He encouraged job aspirants to pursue continuous learning, skill development and hard work to succeed in an increasingly competitive job market.
Interacting with participants at the fair, Agrawal said employment fairs are more than recruitment drives, describing them as platforms that connect young people with leading industries and institutions while helping them shape their careers.
“In today’s rapidly changing world, skills and competence are the greatest assets. Young people should continue upgrading their abilities and prepare themselves to seize emerging opportunities,” he said.
The Minister highlighted the state’s ongoing efforts to promote employment and entrepreneurship through skill development, vocational training and various employment-generation schemes being implemented by different government departments. These initiatives, he said, are aimed at making the youth self-reliant while contributing to the state’s economic growth.
Agrawal also congratulated candidates who secured job offers during the fair and wished them success in their professional careers. He expressed confidence that through dedication, talent and hard work, the selected candidates would make meaningful contributions to their families, society and the state.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of job seekers, government officials, public representatives and representatives of private companies. Candidates underwent interviews and selection processes for employment opportunities across various sectors, making the job fair a significant initiative to improve career prospects for the youth of the Surguja division.
