TFP Bureau, Raipur, April 14, 2025: On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution, Governor Shri Ramesh Deka and Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai paid floral tributes and remembered his immense contribution to the nation.
At a solemn ceremony held at Raj Bhavan, Governor Shri Ramesh Deka garlanded Dr. Ambedkar’s photograph and was joined by officers and staff of Raj Bhavan in honoring the iconic social reformer.
Reflecting on Dr. Ambedkar’s life, Governor Deka said, “Baba Saheb’s life was a relentless struggle against social discrimination, untouchability, and inequality. He believed education was the most powerful tool for social change and exemplified that belief through his own achievements.”
The Governor emphasized that Dr. Ambedkar’s legacy must not be limited to ceremonial tributes. “His principles of equality, fraternity, and justice should be actively practiced at all levels of society,” he urged.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai also commemorated the occasion by offering floral tribute to Dr. Ambedkar’s photograph at his residence office. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister called Dr. Ambedkar’s life “a unique example of perseverance and inspiration.”
“He gave us a Constitution that laid the foundation for democracy and social justice in India,” said Chief Minister Sai. “On his birth anniversary, we must pledge to uphold his ideals and contribute to building a more inclusive, equitable, and justice-driven society.”
Both tributes served as reminders of the enduring relevance of Dr. Ambedkar’s vision for a fair and equal India.
