Breaking News: Chhattisgarh Government Announces Key Administrative Change

TFP Bureau, Nava Raipur, April 15, 2025: In a significant reshuffling of administrative duties, the Chhattisgarh Government has relieved Shri Mukesh Kumar Bansal, IAS (2005), from his additional charge as Secretary of the General Administration Department. Bansal, who currently serves as Secretary of the Finance Department and holds additional responsibilities as Secretary of Commercial Tax, will continue in his current roles.

Shri Rajat Kumar, IAS (2005), Secretary of Commerce & Industry and Public Enterprises Department, will now take on the additional charge of Secretary of the General Administration Department, while continuing to oversee his existing duties, including his responsibility as Additional Charge Secretary for Commerce & Industry (Railway Projects) Department.

The order, issued by the General Administration Department, is a part of the state government’s ongoing efforts to streamline administrative functions.

This administrative reshuffle takes immediate effect as of today, with the official notification signed by Anvesh Ghritalhare, Deputy Secretary, General Administration Department.
