Two-day fair at Balbir Singh Juneja Indoor Stadium on October 7-8; vacancies available across technical and non-technical sectors
TFP Bureau, Raipur, October 5, 2026: More than 8,000 employment opportunities will be available to job seekers at a state-level job fair to be held at the Balbir Singh Juneja Indoor Stadium in Raipur on October 7 and 8.
The fair is being organised by the Department of Skill Development, Technical Education and Employment under the chief patronage of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai. Skill Development, Technical Education and Employment Minister Guru Khushwant Saheb will preside over the event.
The two-day fair will provide opportunities in both technical and non-technical sectors, with participation expected from major industries and private establishments. Officials said the initiative is aimed at providing young people with direct access to potential employers and vacancies matching their qualifications.
According to department Secretary Basavaraju S., efforts are being made to ensure participation of a large number of industries and private establishments. Eligible candidates can view available vacancies and register for the fair through the ‘e-Rozgar’ portal.
Offer letters will also be issued at the event to candidates selected through state-level and district-level job fairs.
Candidates attending the fair will be able to interact directly with participating companies, learn about available positions and apply for jobs suited to their educational qualifications and skills.
The department has undertaken publicity through Gram Panchayats, urban local bodies and other channels to encourage maximum participation. Relevant departments and district administrations have also been instructed to disseminate information about the fair among eligible youth.
The state government has directed concerned departments to make necessary arrangements for the event and facilitate participation of as many job seekers as possible.
