During the discussion, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai hailed Modi’s achievement as historic, noting that under Modi’s leadership, India has risen to become the world’s fifth-largest economic power. He emphasized Modi’s commitment to making India a developed nation by 2047.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap, who presented the resolution, highlighted India’s significant global strides under Modi’s leadership, asserting that the country is on track to become a developed nation.

Chief Minister Sai recounted his experience serving as a Minister of State during Modi’s first term. He recalled Modi’s inaugural address in which he pledged to uplift the poor and dedicated his government to their welfare. Sai praised the impact of the Swachh Bharat Mission, launched on August 15, 2014, which has greatly improved cleanliness and sanitation across the country.

He further noted that since Modi took office in 2014, electricity has been brought to over 14,000 villages that had been without power for 65 years post-independence. The opening of Jan Dhan accounts for more than 45 crore poor people has also been a significant achievement. The Chief Minister highlighted the efficiency of Modi’s governance, especially through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system, which has ensured that aid reaches beneficiaries directly, minimizing leakages.

Sai lauded Modi’s adept handling of adverse circumstances during his first term, which helped elevate India’s global standing. He also praised Modi’s management during the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly the vaccination drive that delivered over 200 crore vaccine doses. According to Sai, Modi’s administrations have consistently prioritized the welfare of the poor, enabling them to live with dignity.

Deputy Chief Ministers Shri Arun Sao and Shri Vijay Sharma, Finance Minister Shri O.P. Choudhary, and other legislators also expressed their support and views on the resolution, underscoring the transformative impact of Modi’s leadership on India’s trajectory.
