TFP Bureau, Raipur, October 25,2026: Chhattisgarh will celebrate its 26th Foundation Day with a three-day Rajyotsav 2026 at the Tuta Fairgrounds in Naya Raipur from November 1 to 3. The state administration is stepping up preparations for the festival, which will feature aerial displays by the Indian Air Force (IAF), cultural performances, departmental exhibitions and the presentation of 40 state-level awards.
IAF aerobatic displays to be a major attraction
One of the main attractions will be an aerial show featuring the IAF’s Sarang helicopter display team and the Surya Kiran aerobatic team over the Sendh Lake area in Naya Raipur. The nine-aircraft Surya Kiran team is expected to perform formation flying and aerobatic manoeuvres for approximately 40 minutes. The final date and timing of the air show are yet to be officially announced.

The cultural programme will feature performances by playback singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya, singers Palak Muchhal and Swasti Mehul, along with local artists showcasing Chhattisgarh’s rich folk traditions.
Focus on women’s empowerment and youth
This year’s Rajyotsav will be organised around the theme ‘Sashakt Nari–Yuva Udaan’ (Empowered Women–Youth Taking Flight), highlighting women’s empowerment and the role of young people in the state’s development.
Government departments and public sector undertakings will set up exhibitions showcasing their achievements, welfare schemes and development initiatives. Key themes will include ‘Ease of Doing Business’, ‘Human Capital Development’, ‘Viksit Bharat’ and ‘Anjor Chhattisgarh’.
The exhibitions will provide information on investment opportunities, employment generation, infrastructure development and public welfare programmes.
The concluding day, November 3, will also feature the Rajya Alankaran Samaroh, at which 40 state-level awards and honours will be presented to individuals for their contributions across various fields.

Six routes have been designated to manage traffic, while parking facilities with a capacity of approximately 40,000 vehicles have been arranged. Visitors will be able to park their vehicles at designated locations and walk to the venue.
