After Chakradhar Champions edged Rajdhani Royals 4-3 and Nyaydhani Knights defeated Sanskardhani Strikers 5-3 on Saturday, Sunday’s matches promise another test of semi-final ambitions
TFP Bureau, Raipur, October 25, 2026: The Chhattisgarh Hockey League will witness two crucial encounters on Sunday, with Nyaydhani Knights taking on Bailadila Bulls at 5.30 pm before Rajdhani Royals face Mainpat Titans at 7.30 pm. The fixtures follow an action-packed Saturday in which Chakradhar Champions strengthened their semi-final prospects with a 4-3 win over Rajdhani Royals, while Nyaydhani Knights registered their second victory by defeating Sanskardhani Strikers 5-3.
Chakradhar Champions continued their impressive run as Parampreet Singh scored twice from penalty corners to help his team overcome Rajdhani Royals. Roshan Kumar scored for the Royals, but their second consecutive defeat has left them under pressure to win their remaining matches to stay in the semi-final race.
In the other match, Nyaydhani Knights recovered from an early setback to beat Sanskardhani Strikers 5-3. Chirag’s penalty-corner goals and a strong second-quarter performance helped Nyaydhani secure their second win of the tournament. Ashish Tani Purti scored twice for Sanskardhani, but his efforts were not enough to prevent defeat.
Sunday’s opening fixture will see Nyaydhani Knights attempt to maintain their winning momentum against Bailadila Bulls. The evening clash between Rajdhani Royals and Mainpat Titans will be particularly important for Rajdhani, who need a strong response after consecutive defeats.
Deputy Chief Minister and Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Arun Sao attended Saturday’s matches for the second consecutive day and presented awards to the standout performers.
