BREAKING: 20 IPS Officers Transferred in Chhattisgarh, Major Changes in District Leadership

TFP Bureau,Raipur, April 20,2025: In a significant reshuffle, the Chhattisgarh government has transferred 20 IPS officers, including the Superintendents of Police (SPs) for nine districts. The changes, which also include two Inspector Generals (IGs), were announced earlier today, signaling a major shift in the state’s law enforcement leadership.

Among the notable transfers, Rajesh Agarwal has been appointed as the SP of Surguja, while Vijay Agarwal takes over as the SP of Durg. Bhavna Gupta will now lead the Balodabazar-Bhatapara district, and Suraj Singh has been assigned as the SP of Dhamtari. Other significant appointments include Lakshya Sharma as SP of Khairagarh, Anjaneya Varshney as SP of Sarangarh, Yogesh Patel as SP of Balod, SR Bhagat as SP of Gaurela Pendra, and Vijay Pandey, who has been made the SP of Janjgir.
