TFP Bureau, Raipur, 19 April 2025: In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Chhattisgarh government has transferred 41 IAS officers, including changes in the leadership of 11 districts. Many of the transferred officers have been assigned additional charges across various departments. The changes are aimed at streamlining administrative functions and enhancing the efficiency of government operations.
Among the key changes, Kunal Dudawat has been appointed the new Collector of Dantewada, while Mayank Chaturvedi will take charge as the Collector of Raigarh district. Other notable appointments include Sanjay Kannauje as the Collector of Sarangarh Bilaigarh, Nupur Rashi Panna as the Collector of Kondagaon, and Kundan Kumar as the Collector of Mungeli district.
In a major reshuffling, Indrajit Chandrawal has been appointed as the Collector of Khairagarh Chhuikhadan Gandai, while Sanjay Agarwal takes charge as the Collector of Bilaspur. Divya Umesh Mishra will now serve as the Collector of Balod, Janmejaya Mahobe will be the new Collector of Janjgir, and Sarveshwar Bhure has been posted as the Collector of Rajnandgaon.
The reshuffle also saw some officers moved to new roles at the state level. Bilaspur Collector Avnish Kumar Sharan has been appointed as the Commissioner of the Housing Board, while Raigarh District Collector Kartikeya Goyal will now serve as the Director of the Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department. Sarangarh District Collector Dharmesh Sahu has been shifted to the position of Special Secretary of the Panchayat and Rural Development Department, and Gariaband Collector Deepak Agarwal will now be the Controller of the Food and Drug Administration Department.
The transfers are part of the state government’s ongoing efforts to improve governance and ensure effective implementation of policies across various sectors.
